In Conversation With: Emma Blake

We recently took five with muse and model, Emma Blake, to discuss her day on location in the streets of Rome, and all things Euro Summer.

Sit down with Emma:

Was this your first time visiting Rome? What did you love most about your time in the city?

This was not my first time in Rome, and it certainly will not be my last! It's one of my favourite cities in Europe. This was however, my first time in Rome in the middle of Summer (it was very hot!), but I loved walking down the beautiful warm streets at night to get dinner and gelato, it was so magical.

Tell us about your day on location?

It was honestly so much fun - I loved being able to shoot in such an iconic city with a brand, and in outfits I truly love. It was really special being able to experience this with fellow Australians (the Henne team) as we were just as excited as one another about every little thing that we saw.

The whole city is the perfect backdrop, and I honestly didn't want the day to end.

What was your favourite part?

Definitely the Vespa tour that we did! It was so much fun getting to see the city on the back of an Italian tour guide's Vespa (whilst on the job), I'll never forget it. It was so iconic and so special.

Gelato or granita?

Gelato - I can't go to sleep at night during European Summer without having one. My favourite flavour is definitely pistachio or melon. Italian melon gelato is just bellissima!

Best thing you ate?

I actually ate a lemon gelato whilst shooting (it was a prop) and it was so incredible and refreshing - heaven! The gelato really does taste better in Italy.

Europe must-do or visit?

I live in London at the moment, so anywhere with a beautiful beach and some sun. My favourite holiday recently was to this beautiful quaint island in Tuscany called Giglio. Super peaceful with beautiful crystal clear waters and the most gorgeous people. It was such a special and relaxing holiday.
