CHAPTER 6

In Conversation With:

Eden Kannourakis

Shot in the streets of Shoreditch, London, 'Can You Take My Picture?' our Spring Essentials campaign was brought to life by talented photographer, and friend-of the-brand, Rob Tennent. We recently caught up with muse, and new-found London local, Eden Kannourakis to discuss her day on-location, and all things lifestyle; where to shop, where to eat, and where to find the best hidden gems.

How long have you been living in London?

E: I’ve been in London since March 2023, I love it here. It’s such a big, fun city.

Tell us about your neighbourhood?

E: I live in Notting Hill, where the famous book store is, as you may know. It’s a super cute neighbourhood with all the colourful houses. Everyone is very friendly and there are lots of cute cafes and shops! On Saturday’s we have a cute farmers market and all weekend is the portobello market which has lots of vintage goodies and yummy food.

Do you have any recommendations for a ‘must-see or do’ when in London?

E: I’m not a big sightseer so I’d say the markets - Columbia road flower market, Borough market, Bricklane & Portobello. Also the shopping and divine restaurants here!

What is your favourite thing about Shoreditch?

E: The vintage shopping in bricklane. Everyone has cool style around the east! It’s also very fun to go out in Shoreditch, there are some super cute wine bars.

Tell us about your day shooting our Spring Lounge Campaign?

E: It was such a fun day with Rob, shooting the Spring Lounge campaign. It felt so natural exploring the neighbourhood in outfits I love. We also had the yummiest lunch at Rochelle Canteen, I highly recommend it.

What does a typical day-in-the-life look like for you?

E: It depends if it’s a work day or not but I usually love to start my day with a matcha from Kuro bakery followed by a Pilates or Boxing class. I then make my way to work but if not I'll meet a friend for a big walk in Hyde park. Afternoons I love going to Wholefoods and grabbing everything I need to cook dinner for that night.

Best weekend brunch recommendation?

E: Our weekly go-to for brunch is Granger & Co, it’s an Australian cafe. It feels like home! (Also the only place I can get my Vegemite fix).

Tell us your go-to restaurants for dinner?

E: Current go-to dinner spots are Dorian & Wild tavern!

Best places to shop?

E: There are too many good places to shop here! Harrods, Selfridges, Sloane Square and Bond Street are probably my go to’s. As well as the vintage markets.

Any hidden gems we must know about?

E: A hidden gem cafe would be Hjem, pronounced gem. It’s the cutest little Danish bakery / cafe in Kensington with delicious treats and great coffee. You won’t be disappointed. Also a restaurant must - The river cafe!

The ‘Can You Take My Picture?' Collection is now available to shop both online & in boutique.
